Musée Jacquemart-andré

Originally built as the private home of art-lovers husband and wife Edouard-André and Nélie Jacquemart, this mansion (including all the furniture and pieces of art) was given to the "Institut de France" at their death. Their will imposed that all furniture and paintings be kept in their original conditions and be opened to the public. We can now discover their private apartments, rooms decorated and furnished in the period style and French 2nd most beautiful Art collection right after the Louvre museum.
