The exhibition features a representation of Matisse's studio, as well as the paintings, sculptures and decorative objects it contains. For the 1st time, the exhibition brings together the works present in L'Atelier rouge since they left Matisse's studio in Issy-les-Moulineaux. It is also enriched by previously unpublished archive documents and works that shed light on the context of creation and the adventure of this painting.
